Hello, I'm Raycho, I was born in 1985 in a beautiful, picturesque Rhodope village in Bulgaria. Ever since I was little, I loved walks in the forest, the mountains, with my dog, where we would get lost, lighting a fire and looking at the landscape. My love for woodcarving and art was born at school age, when I watched the school janitor stand with a chisel and a board in his hand.I wanted to try carving too, so I took a screwdriver, sharpened it, and started carving гrandpa was a carpenter, and I asked him to give me a chisel to use. After graduation, I was accepted to the Agricultural University in Plovdiv, where I studied plants. After a few years, we decided to fly to London, to my aunt. We packed our bags, put on our suits and left, the landing was interesting. The new world opened new doors and opportunities and the game of survival began, I had to work as a painter, a builder, a plasterer and finally a gardener. At 23, I bought my first van, gardening equipment and decided to invest in my own business. I didn't speak English well and I was quite shy, so every phone call was a nightmare. The years pass very quickly, from my work I managed to find walnut, cherry wood with which I stood with a chisel in front of the computer and chatted. It was not the idea that was important, but the fact that the process itself calmed me and gave me pleasure. I decided to enroll in a wood carving course and successfully applied for a course in central London, my teacher's name was Stephen Scott, Goodlife School. I don't have a studio, I work outdoors without any electric tools. I cut everything by hand, I make tables, paintings, carve furniture and it's all for a hobby. I don't sell anything, my goal is to show my work, I hope you like it
